Yesterday 9 March 2011 my first Joomla 1.6 extension has been added to the extensions.joomla.org website.
Because of the fact that Joomla 1.6 is released a sort while ago there were a large number of extensions added to the site.
Each extension must be approved by the team of extensions.joomla.org.
So it took about a small month before I had approval for my extension. But it is there now.
Search Twitter Tweets Plugin
This plug-in makes it possible to extend your search-results with the tweets of one Twitter account.
Futures:
- Set the number of Tweets to search in. Twitter allows a max to 20 Tweets
- This plugin can cache the Tweets and you can define a cache time
- Choose whether to load the Tweet in the same window or a new tab when clicking on a result
- Ordering: old, new
- Phrases: all, any, exact
- Alert when Twitter is unreachable.
- Alert when no Twitter account and/or numbers of Tweets is set
